2. Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 9/2/2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.topotables.com and any custom table order placed with Topotables ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Custom Order Process
Each table is custom-built to order. After you submit an inquiry, we will consult with you and then provide a design proposal including dimensions, materials, and price. Production begins only after you approve the final design and pay the required deposit.
2. Deposits
A deposit of 50% of the total order price is required to begin production. Deposits become non-refundable once design is approved.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Orders may be cancelled or changed without penalty until design is approved and a deposit has been made. After this point, the deposit will be non-refundable. Change orders requested after production has begun may incur additional charges and extend the delivery timeline. These will be agreed up in writing if they occur.
4. Production and Delivery Timeline
Estimated production time is 6-12 weeks from date of deposit. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. We will notify you of any anticipated delay and, where required by law, obtain your consent to the delay or offer a refund (see Shipping & Returns Policy).
5. Shipping and Freight Damage
Topotables will arrange shipping and will bear risk of loss/damage in transit — see Shipping & Returns Policy below for full detail. Shipping terms, including responsibility for freight damage, are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
6. Returns on Custom Products
Because each table is built to your specifications, all sales are final once production has begun, except as required by law or as described in our Shipping & Returns Policy (e.g., for items damaged in transit).
7. Natural Material Variation
Wood grain, color, natural imperfections, and topographic detailing are unique to each table. Variations from photos, samples, or digital renderings are expected and do not constitute a defect.
8. Measurement and Scale
Topographic scale and measurements are approximate and based on available mapping data at the time of production. Minor variances between the physical table and source topography may occur.
9. Installation
Topotables does not handle delivery or installation, and it is the customer's responsibility once the item arrives? It is possible to arrange for custom delivery and installation within reasonable geographic limits. These can be agreed upon in writing if available.
10. Warranty
We warrant that your table will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the delivery date. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, humidity/temperature changes affecting wood, or unauthorized modification. It is rare but possible that the wood may expand or contract due to environmental conditions that cannot be controlled or eliminated in production or after delivery. We will attempt to deal with each situation as it occurs since there is no standard issue or method for dealing with these things. It is generally considered normal for wood and wood-based products to change over time due to the nature of wood and it’s susceptibility to humidity, heat, cold and all other environmental conditions that affect wood. Customer explicitly accepts any changes in with wood in the product after delivery. Any accommodations for these changes in the wood are solely up to the discretion of Topotables LLC.
11. Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, topographic renderings, and content on this Site are the property of Topotables unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, resell, or use our designs or content without written permission.
12. Website Use Restrictions
You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, scraping content without permission, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topotables' total liability arising from any order or use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute-resolution process will be thru informal resolution first, then arbitration, or venue/jurisdiction for lawsuits in Kootenai County.
15. Acceptance
